Finnflite

Finnflite operates as the first airline in its field in the Nordic and European countries using the Cessna Caravan.
Cessna Caravan aircrafts have been flying for decades around the world. The aircraft is also suitable for a wide range of operations from short and unattended airports or when operating on the water with floats.
Finnflite brings new era to Flight travelling. Our dynamic and low cost concept is superior. Welcome aboard! We offer You safe and pleasant Flight.

Flight Safety

Finnflite flight-safety is based on EASA aviation regulations. European regulations are one of the toughest in the world. Getting AOC means that the flight company has to meet EASA safety criteria about organization, personnel, maintenance and operation.
Finnflite has selected one of the world’s most widely used aircrafts, Cessna Caravan. Decades of flight operations and development since 1982 guarantee a reliable and safe flight. Whether you were going to an uncontrolled aerodrome with short runways or directly to the city center with floats.
Finnflite uses always 2 pilots in operations. And Crew are always alcohol checked before the Flight. Our captains have long history in airforce or big airlines. You are in safe hands.

Cost-effectiveness

Cabin volume

The cabin volume of the Pilatus PC-12 NG (330 cubic feet), is equivalent to the size of the Grand Caravan (340 cu ft) but considerably larger compared with the TBM 850 aircraft (120 cu ft). See Chart A.

Notice! The table shows the figures in cubic feet. 1 ft³ = 0,0283 m³

Cost Per Mile Comparisons

Chart B details “Cost per Mile” comparing the Pilatus to its competition factoring direct costs with other aircrafts. All aircrafts have measured with lying a 600 nautical mile mission with an 800 pound (four passengers) payload. The Pilatus PC-12 NG at $2.29 cost per mile is less than the 208B Grand Caravan ($2.95) but greater than the TBM 850 aircraft ($1.96).

Notice the fuel price used from the source does not represent an average fuel price for the year (2013).

Also note the fluctuations in fuel prices on an annual basis.

Productivity Comparisons

The points in Chart D center on the same group of aircraft. Pricing used in the vertical axis is published in Vref. The productivity index requires further discussion in that the factors used can be somewhat arbitrary. Productivity can be defined (and it is here) as the multiple of three factors:

1. Range with full payload and available fuel
2. The long range cruise speed flown to achieve that range
3. The cabin volume available for passengers and amenities

Fuel Used / Hour

Table C illustrates fuel consumption per hour flown. The table is presented in the form of a gallon per hour.

Notice! The table shows consumption in gallons. 1 gal = 3,79 liter.

Total Variable Cost Comparisons

The ”Total Variable Cost” is illustrated in Chart C, which is defined as the cost of Fuel Expense, Maintenance Labor Expense, Scheduled Parts Expense and Miscellaneous trip expense. The total variable cost for the Pilatus PC-12 NG at $621 is more expensive compared to the rest of the field.

Notice! In the table, monetary amounts are shown in dollars. 1$ = 0,88€

Payload and Ranges

A potential operator should focus on payload capability.

Notice the units in the table attributes.
1 lb = 0,454 kg | 1 nm = 1,85 km
